The jump between bolly wood and hollywood is become less and less as time goes on.We are begining to see more acters and actresses from her go there for filming and vice versa.Recently a movie called Slumdog Millionaire came out here and was shot all in india which is another example of this eventual merger.I feel that this is a good thing because that way the movies we see will include more culture as well.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

This movie was absolutely amazing and makes you want to see it again and again.What i found very interesting was how the film makers could fit a whole lifetime of about 80 years into such a relatively short movie.The plot about a boy who ages backwards was very mind stimulating and easy to enjoy.Brad Pitt played to his full extent in this movie and it really showed through his superb acting.

My Bloody Valentine

My Bloody Valentine is getting lots of recognition these days and is going to be a hit at the box office when it comes out this friday.Lots of people are going for the 3-d special effects which are rarely done for movies of this genre, but the amount of work that goes into making a 3-d movie is not as hard as many make it out to be.The 3-d movie business has been around since the 1950's and has come a log way since.I cant wait to go see My Bloody Valentine.

rap vs rock

I was just noticing how in middle school the biggest cliques in school was due to music.But lately i have noticed that the two cliques have merged into one school.I think this is due to people broadening their horizons when it come to music.A couple years ago i was listening to hard core rap like biggie,2pac,and The Game.But then i started listening to soft rock such as Jack Johnson and Coldplay.I have since learned that both types of music are good in their own ways.So what types of music do you listen to and why?please comment.

Golded Glow Ledger and others

Heath Ledger has been nominated among others to recieve a coveted Golden Globe.His father released a statement saying that they were very grateful that he was being recognized.I think that this is great because heaths role in the Dark Knight was awesome.I also think that it was very honorable that the other nominees offered their condolences.There is no doubt that Ledgers death was a tragic blow to the industry but hopefully that wont sway the judges decision since his role was as good if not better then the others that are under consideration for the award.

Zero db initiative

The British law group Reprieve have been called upon to represent detainees of Guantaanamo Bay.They reported that the soldiers blast music at the dedtainees at unwarrented levels.According to them Eminem hold the top three songs with "Kim," "The Real Slim Shady" and "White America." Ome other artists include Dr.Dre,System of a Down, and Metallica.I think that a little music never hurt anyone but to use it as torture is not justified in any manner.These famous songs are like works of art and using them as torture may make the detainees not want to listen to the music ever again.

This movie is very interesting and is getting tons of attention.Brad Pitts last role as an essentric gym employee I didnt find suits him.However his new role as an old man who grows younger I beleive will suit him just fine.The movie contains Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett who are both Oscar winners should put this movie on the number one spot.The creator of this story is F. Scott Fitzgerald who has written The Great Gatsby also is a very talented writer and many are expecting great things from this movie.This is mainly due to how good the book was.The make-up and special effects in this movie are absolutely amazing if i may say myself and i canyt wait to see the movie.

Paul Benedict dead at 70

It was a sad day on monday in the entertainment industry.Paul Benedict who was an actor on The Jeffersons and the painter on Sesame Street died at the age of 70.He was the neighbor on the Jeffersons for over 10 years.He was found in Marthas Vinyard dead od no known cause but there is an autopsy underway.I never watched the Jeffersons before but have seen some clips and you could tell that Mr.Benedict loved what he was doing.I looked into his background and found out that he was a director as well and had gone to acting school to pursue his dream of acting in theater.I wish his family well and hope he will be remembered for some time.

The holiday season movies

Evey holiday season many movies come about which are mostly funny and amusing.Some of the movies that are comming out this season are Four Christmas's and Nothing Like the Holidays.These movies are created to put people in the holiday spirit and do a good job of it.Last year the hit Christmas movie Fred Clause closed out at 18.5 million dollars.I was wondering why producers create these movies if they dont bring in alot of money.Is it that the producers do it to put people in the holiday mood or to make money?

Patrick Swayze dukin' it out with cancer again.

Alright ladies and gentleman is is round 2 of the Cancer vs. Swayze match up.Swayze who attracted cancer for the second time is stepping into the ring and is becoming progressivly weaker through the rounds.He has recently found out that the deadly opponant has spread to his liver and is becoming a force to be rekoned with.Swayze has begun saying goodby to friends and family.Now im not stating a fact here, but it has been reported that Patrick Swayze has 4 livers and 3 hearts.So this will be a good fight to sit back and watch.Tune in next week.

Slumdog Millionaire is going to bring in million's

Unfortunately for the new movie Slum dog Millionaire, it won't be able to reach the masses this season due to the limited theaters that it is showing in.The movie deals more with Bollywood even though it is shot in Hollywood.I think that this is a good thing becuase it is bridging the gap between the two diverse movie hotspots.This is also showing global unification.I cant wait to see this movie when it comes out on dvd but until then i can only wait.

Transporter 3

So i got to see the new Transporter movie on friday. I felt that it was the best one yet.In almost every scene there was action of some kind.John Statham provides a fun performance in the third installment of the Transporter series.Hes rocking his Audi A4 once again as well.This movie isn't centered around the plot but rather around the cool stunts performed such as driving on two wheels between 2 semi-tucks.This movie is not for those looking for an intellectual thought based movie.It is more for those seeking a quick fun based movie.I rate this movie a C+.

StarTrek no longer only for Geeks

I have just seen the new StarTrek movie trailer and i am stunned.Now i used to beleive that StarTrek was only for geeks but apparently i was totally off.This movie is going to appeal to all audiences and will bring in the big bucks.It is a sci-fi film with tons of action and even a little romance thrown in to appeal to girls.There isn't much i can say about it since they have only come out with it formally for not to long.When i learn more i will tell you more about it.

To build or not to build?That is the question.

We all remember Doc Brown from Back to The Future.Well the man who played him who is Christopher Lloyd has come out this wekend stating that he will not rebuild his home which was burned in the California fires this week.I wasn't surprised to hear this becasue even if he had decided to rebuild, it wouldnt be the same house he would remember.I mean really, if you were in his position would you rebuild?

This is interesting.Brad Pitt was on a talk show the other day where he was asked about some tattoos on his body that where interesting.He was quoted saying that tattoos are a great thing to do when you love someone and you was to share something with them.I was just wondering if you think tattoos are a good idea?Do you plan on getting a tattoo?Or do you think it is something special that has to have meaning?

There are many upcomming comedians and everyday we see more come on to the sene.For example there is one kid who started out on the internet like most do.His name is Bo Burnham who started out on youtube doing some sketches of his work.He already has a contact with comedy central to do some stand up sketches.He told some reporters that he bought lots of stock in Xannex,when the asked him why he said that because when the market crashes Xannex will go up.I found this quite funny.These upcomming comedians are really funny and have yet to be heard my the mainstream public which is really a shame.I encourage all of my 3 avid readers to take time to look for undiscorered comedians becasue befor you know it they will be mainstream as well.

Stealing Quontum of Solace

So i was quite surprised today when i learned that one on the hottest movies of the year was leaked one week earlier.MY friend told me that i could download it here and i was just totally stunned by this.I mean how could the creators be so careless to let this happen.They just lost millions of dollars by letting this happen.Many movies have been leaked before in this manner."this manner" meaning being recorded via camcorder.I wonder if anyone ever catches these people because it must be brutal trying to track them down.I think it is very wrong of people to steal a whole cast hard work because pirating a movie is essentially stealing.

Top 25 Entertainers

Hey again i totally forgot to keep posting but whatever im back now.E online has created their annual top entertainers list for 20087 and released it today and i am just outraged.They put Michael Phelps at number 23 first of all.This guys has done something that only one other guy has done before and he should be recognized for it.Ok some thing real upset is how did Katy Perry get on this list.She has like two good songs and has never been recognized before.Her songs arent even any good so she should be kicked off of this list.One entertainer that is on the list and that has deserved its position of number 23 is Facebook.Facebook has entertained millions over the years and is constantly in use.It has even stayed with technology by creating telephone applications.With their new album leading them into the future, Coldplay has skyrocketed to number 13 on their coveted list.Coldplay hasn't been on the seen for a while until they released their cover track Viva La Vida which has become an over night hit.Alright now time for 3,2 and 1.Comming in at number 3 is The Dark Knight.The movie generated more then any other movie EVER in revenue.The charachters were all played perfectly and the best was probably the late Heath ledger who was not confirmed as dead in the charachter perspective.Number 2 is Tina FEy who i think deserves that title since she portrayed Sarah Palin so well and is a very talented actor and sketch comedian.Finally number one most definatly deserved his title.Number 1 is Robert Downey Jr..As Iron Man he blew the world away and deserves it just for that role.But he was able to accomplish other roles as well,such as Tropic Thunder which didnt do as well.

Joe the writer?!?!?

Lately we keep hearing of Joe the plumber, but do we really know him?Apparently Sam Wurzelbacher (aka Joe) has a much deeper side which he hopes to share with the world in the form of a book.Joe has been on the hunt for an opportunity to share his experience on the campaign trail.Unfortunately there isn't much detail on this since the source of this news won't talk anymore.This news comes as a surprise to most, but it shouldn't considering Tina Fey is already working on her book which is bound to feature her performance as Sarah Palin (which was excellent).If Joe the plumber ever does get this book out i doubt it will be a success because the fad of Joe the plumber will be over.Just as the era of Pokemon ended so will the era of Joe.

The Hives stealing songs.

The sweedish hit band The Hives are being sued by American hit song writer Jason Shapiro.Shapiro has accused the band of taking his riff and vocal line for their song Tick Tick Boom.Shapiro has helped bands such as The Roofies and Celebrity Skin rise to the top of the charts.The riff that The Hives stole was from Shapiros song titled Why You? .Shapiro wasn't just making accusations for the heck of it, he consulted music experts which confirmed his worries.I feel that Shapiro has a right to be mad because his lifes work is comprised of his music and if the band goes and takes the riff then he should sue them.It must be especially painful for Shapiro because the sweedish band made much money off od that song.

Obama dominating the media

Last night we all sat back and watched as Barack Obama used his millions to crush is opponent on the television.Many political analysts argue that point however by saying that the 30 minute long info-commercial was overkill.Obama has been known to spend more then $32 million in one week on advertising.The ad ran on 3 television networks simutaneously. The Obama show averged a combined 26.3 million on CBS, NBC and Fox.the Hollywood Reporter found that Obama attracted more viewers than the CBS, NBC and Fox shows that normally air Wednesdays from 8-8:30 p.m.I personally beleive that since we are in the final days of the presidential race,that both candadates should be sprinting to the finish line and that the commercial was a good idea to attract undecided voters.How did you feel about the commercial?Do you think that it was overkill?What was your favorite part?

50 cents court case finally over.

During the summer 50 cent's ex girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins ignited a heated Court case against 50 whose real name is Curtis Jackson over the custody of their 11 year old son.Over many months of court cases and fighting the two have finally come to an agreement over the custody of the child.Their agreement happened outside of the court walls so that it would remain low key.Tompkins also sued Jackson on charges of burning down their $2.4 million house.Jackson has repeatedly said that he was not involved in the fire.He then fired back by suing Tompkins for $20 million for defaming his name.

Are the girld next door moving out of the neighborhood?

Holly Madison and Hugh Hefner ended their relationship the other day.This was due to Hefners inability to conceive children becasue of his low sperm count.Shortly after Holly Madison was seen in Las Vegas having drinks with Criss Angel who is about to start his new show called Beleive .Hugh has shown deep regret since Holly moved out, but he has found 2 new hopefulls to fill Madisons place.The new girls Kristina and Karissa Shannon are most likely going to recieve girlfriend status shortly.Hugh also has another girl awaiting word to wether or not she will become a girlfriend who is a college senior in Georgia.Kendra Wilkinson from the girls next door will also be moving out towards the end of the year.Nobody really cares about the 3rd girl next door Bridget Marquardt so i have no news about her.

Nick Hogan is no longer a jailbird

Nick Hogan was released from Pinellas County Jail during the first 30 minutes of Tuesday morning.He was then quickly transported to the Hogan family house in Clearwater ,Florida.He served 166 days of an 8 month sentence for reckless driving which he pleaded guilty to in May.He is also looking at 5 years of probation and 500 hours of community service. He was let out of jail early due to a request of his best friends family.His best friend John Graziano was brutely injured in the car accident becasue he was not wearing a seatbelt.Nicks sister Brooke who is now starring in her hit TV show was there to recieve him.His parents were no where in sight but did release a statement saying that "Nick went into prison as a juvenile and has experienced something that will mold and affect him for the rest of his adult life. His focus is to make a positive difference in this world, media-free. Since his future actions will speak louder than any words, there is no need to speak to the media at this time."
